The blue and whites got off to a racing start through an Evan Menzies goal on 21 minutes, followed by one from the irrepressible Glen MacKintosh just four minutes later.  A scond effort from leading goalscorer MacKintosh just on half time made it 3-0 and 'More were on easy street.

Immediately after the restart 'More were caught napping, as Greg Matheson took advantage of a penalty award to pull one back.  It gave Lovat renewed heart and on 61 minutes, things got even more interesting, as Calum Cruden pulled back a second to leave just a single goal margin.  The 'More squad, however, pulled together to rally and Jamie Robinson netted on 67 minutes to put the result beyond doubt.

Lovat vs Newtonmore 2nds

Newtonmore's seconds kept the pressure on leaders Fort William in North Division One with a 1-6 victory awat at Lovat.  Calum Stewart netted a double on 5 and 85, but Iain Robinson eclipsed that effort with a hatrick on 37, 49 and 55, while Conor Jones also netted in teh 38th minute.  Jonathon Janczak scored Lovat's consolation on 73.
