By public Transport
The Saturday train and bus connections are not as convenient as they used to be with the majority of the buses now not coming through the village. However it does mean that you may have some free time to walk arond the village and have a bite to eat in a local hotel of cafe.

Trains
Newtonmore is on the Perth to Inverness line. A southbound train stops in Newtonmore at 1349 with the north bound at 1309. After the match the northbound train is at 1728 and the southbound at 1651.

To get to the ground from the station walk up Station Road till the intersection with the B9150 (just over a quarter of a mile).  Turn left and walk out of the village for 600 yards past the Chef’s Grill.  The Eilan is on the right hand side and the walk will take you about 15 minutes allowing you to see the start of the game at 14:30.

Buses
If coming from Inverness the G10 service [booking compulsory] leaves at 1215 arriving Aviemore 1259. At 1332 bus 32 leaves Aviemore for Newtonmore arriving 1359. For return after the match at 1735 bus 32 gets you to Aviemore for 1800 in plenty time for the G90 [booking compulsory] at 1830 arrives Inverness at 1910. 

If coming from Perth the only connection is the 1050 arriving Newtonmore at 1231. The nearest stop is at the Clan Macpherson museum. The return journey is at 1837 arriving Perth at 2025. The nearest stop is opposite the Braeriach Hotel.

To get to the ground walk south on the B1950 past the petrol station and the Newtonmore Grill until you come to the Eilan on the right about half a mile away. The walk will take about 10 minutes.

By Bicycle
The B9150 is part of the long distance cycle route and it goes immediately past the entrance to the Eilan.


By Car
Travelling north take the B9150 signposted Newtonmore half a mile after the Ralia Cafe.  Follow the road round over the lights at the railway bridge and as you swing right onto the straight stretch into the village you will see the eilan on the left hand side.

Travelling South take the exit to Kingussie signposted Fort William, Newtonmore, Laggan.  Turn right at the junction to drive straight through Kingussie for the 3 miles to Newtonmore.  Drive right through the village to where the road splits at the Clan Macpherson museum and stay on the Perth Road.  The ground is half a mile on the right.

There is ample car parking.
